Using Legible
Legible provides software and related services that help teams make website content easier for AI systems to discover, read, and reuse. By using the service, you agree to use it only for lawful business purposes and only in ways that do not interfere with the platform, other customers, or third-party services connected to it.
You are responsible for making sure the information you connect to Legible is content you are allowed to process, publish, or expose through the product.
Accounts And Access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, API keys, and connected integrations. Do not share credentials with unauthorized users. Notify Legible promptly if you believe your account or keys have been compromised.
You may not attempt to bypass plan limits, interfere with service protections, or access workspaces or data that do not belong to you.
Billing And Plan Changes
Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing cadence shown at checkout unless canceled before renewal. Plan features, usage thresholds, and pricing may change over time, but changes will apply prospectively.
If a plan includes usage-based limits, Legible may restrict or pause access to affected features when those limits are exceeded until the account is upgraded, usage resets, or another arrangement is made.
Customer Content
You retain ownership of the content you connect to Legible. By using the service, you grant Legible the rights necessary to process, transform, cache, store, and deliver that content in order to provide the product.
That includes generating clean Markdown, discovery files, chunks, analytics, chatbot-ready outputs, and other product features you enable.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Legible to violate applicable law, infringe third-party rights, distribute malware, abuse external platforms, or misrepresent content ownership or permissions. You may not use the service to intentionally facilitate spam, fraud, or unauthorized data collection.
Legible may suspend access if use of the platform creates security, legal, operational, or abuse-related risk.
Availability And Changes
Legible works to keep the service available and current, but availability, performance, and features may change over time. Some features depend on third-party systems such as CMS platforms, crawlers, hosting environments, or cloud services, and those dependencies may affect behavior outside Legible's direct control.
Legible may update, improve, or discontinue features in order to maintain security, reliability, and product quality.
Disclaimers And Liability
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Legible does not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect indexing outcomes, or that every third-party AI system will use or cite content in a specific way.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legible will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from use of the service.
